The Easter long weekend is among us and we should be in for a good day with a couple at longer odds we are keen on. Typically at Rosehill the past couple of meets the inside has been not the place to be but today with a good 4 track we are expecting the jockeys will dart back to the inside on the turn. Brisbane could be a leader bias track like last week so we are looking for a couple on pacers winning chances.

Caulfield

Race 1 #3 Sunset Watch 2.4  –  Put the writing on the wall last start and that has been a strong Maiden race. Muswellbrook then come out and won. From has been franked, D.Dunn to steer and from an astute stable is ticking all the boxes to take the cash early.

Hard to beat. 

Rosehill Gardens

Race 3 #4 Burning Passion $7  – Has a fantastic second up record 4:2-2-0 and very suited to this distance. Has trialled since and was pleasing. I believe this is a target race and from barrier (1) I can see J.Parr kicking up to hold the lead.

Doomben

Race 4 #6 Final Zero $5 – Looks like he will lead and set the tempo which is what he needs. Trialled again since last run and boast some great distance record 9:4-3-0 and can handle the heavy and if gets to a good track will also be suited.

 

Caulfield

Race 4 #6 Tarcoola Spirit $7/2.5 – Run behind Demerara was very good and expecting that form to stack up. 3rd up and ready to peak.
Danger: Regimen – been following this prep and ran second to a smart one when no luck on the inside.

Rosehill Gardens

 

Race 6 #2 Almandin $3.7 – Out to a very suitable distance now and think Galio is a little too skinny not been proven at the distance.

Race 8 #2 Ecuador $8.6 – Think this is his race to win, with great first-up form and has run the quinella at Rosehill 7 times from 11 starts with 6 of those winning. Was only a length or two behind Winx first up last prep and if he comes out with that form he will win this.
