English Premier League Week 11

Bournemouth vs Manchester United

This weekends fixtures start with Man United travelling to Bournemouth. Bournemouth are currently in 6th place 3 points ahead of the red devils after 10 games. Bournemouth have scored 19 goals this season which is the 5th highest in the league. Manchester United have conceded an uncharacteristic 17 goals this season and a trip to free scoring Bournemouth could spell trouble. It is not very often that Mourinho is involved in high scoring games but with an early kick off, this could be Bournemouth’s chance to catch Man United sleeping and give them a tough game. Id go for both teams to score and a draw at 10/3.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

The game of the weekend sees the reds travel to London to faces an in-form Arsenal side. Arsenal have an excellent record at home and has always been a venue that Liverpool have traditionally struggled at. But this is a Liverpool side determined to challenge for the title under Jurgen Klopp and will be looking to make a big statement. Liverpool have been immense defensively by only conceding 4 goals so far this season but have not completely clicked in an attacking sense. Arsenal have been passing the ball out from the back under Emery which could play into Liverpool’s hands with their ability to counter attack and run at Arsenals shaky defense(which could suffer further due to Guendozi’s suspension). Liverpool are favourites to win at 10/11 WINNER – so a draw could be a good punt at 11/4.WINNER  Xhaka has been playing left back in place of Monreal. He gave away a penalty last weekend and could be having sleepless nights thinking of playing against Mohammad Salah. If Liverpool can keep a clean sheet, Mo Salah to out score Arsenal at 4/1 could be a good bet.

Wolverhampton Wonderers vs Tottenham Hotspurs

If there’s one thing we know about this game, it is that there will be an incredible atmosphere at Molineux this weekend which will be boosted by the late kickoff. Wolves will be hoping to bounce back from their last 2 defeats by putting in a good performance in front of their home fans and will take confidence from their draw with Man City at home a few weeks ago. Spurs will be pleased to have Son back in the squad especially after the South Korean scored a brace in midweek against West Ham. There is surprisingly a lot of negative media surrounding this Spurs side but Pochettino has guided his side to the best Premier League start in their history this season. I foresee a tough game for Spurs which they should be able to deal with but a draw at 23/10 could be a good option. I can see both teams scoring in this game and WINNER with odds of 7/2 for both teams to score and Spurs to win, this could be the bet to go for.WINNER

Manchester City vs Southampton

There will be only 1 winner here. It is still quite astounding that Mark Hughes has been given another opportunity to manager a team to relegation only to be fired just before the drop to save his blushes. You could bet your house on Man City winning this game and the bookies agree at odds of 1/9. Pep has started Aguero in every premier league game this season and I cant see him changing his mind even though he is prone to rotating his squad. Aguero to score exactly 2 is at 2/1 and exactly 3 is 6/1. Southampton will not have enough of the ball to trouble Ederson in Man City’s goal and their only hope for scoring a goal will be from a set piece which means players to outscore the opposition could be a good bet with following being good options as scorers:

WINNER – Sterling 7/4 – WINNER

Mahrez 19/10

Sane 12/5

David Silva 10/3

Chelsea vs Crystal Palace

Once again, there will be only 1 winner in this game. Chelsea are an incredible run of form and are playing scintillating football under the brilliant Maurizio Sari. Crystal Palace may have held Arsenal to a draw last weekend but have been brought back down to earth after a loss to Middlesbrough midweek. Eden Hazard is doubtful with a back injury and his missed their last emphatic victory against Burnley last weekend. Ross Barkley has been on form in recent weeks and could be a good choice for player to score and Chelsea to win at 9/4. Alonso is always a threat going forward and at free kicks and could be another option to score and Chelsea to win at 4/1.
