Gallen out for Tonights Prelim against Storm

Sharkies job even harder

The Sharkies already tough task of beating the Storm in Melbourne just got tougher! Paul Gallen was always in doubt for tonights game at AAMI Park but it has now been confirmed that he is a late withdrawal. His leadership up front is going to be sorely missed and there is now even more weight on Andrew Fifita’s shoulders. Experts are putting the sharks chances all on Fifita’s performance.

Fifita to have a blinder?

There is no question that the Sharks have some serious scoring power out the back with the likes of Homes,Dugan & Moylan but if you compare them to the Storm its hard to say they look better on paper when the storm have Slater,Ado-Carr,Munster,Chambers & Vunivalu. The one thing the sharks have is Andrew Fifita! If he starts making big metres and starts offloading like we know he can do then the Storm will have to revert to a scramble defence, This is where you could see a few holes opening up. If Andrew Fifita has more than 5 or 6 offloads tonight (Averages 3 a game) then i think we can expect a close game. The sharks will have to steer away from a “Finals Footy” strategy as we know the storm thrive in that type of game environment.
