Moonee Valley is in for a huge weekend of racing kicking off with tonight. The famous Manikato has had the race named after him for winning 5 of them in his time. History has showed that the favourites have good records in the race, “Rebel Dane proved otherwise last year”. The Grey Flash has won before and expect at $8.50 opening price a few puntahs will be jumping on here tonight.
Our Mates over at William Hill have a great little promotion to claim tonight. Races 1-4 get rewards points back if your horse runs 2nd, 3rd or 4th. We have a couple of ways to play this and in the first we can see a 6 horse race leaving our top rater in the better side of the winning %.
THE TOP RATER’S
Drops 5kg on last start where he ran the quinella at Caulfield against Oden. Is itching out to win one and gets every chance here now being out to the 2000m. Has been placed at the track before so that is a good sign for horse on a tight track. Rail being in the true position we should see some being able to swoop as well.
PLAYING THE PROMO AT WILLY HILL
Should be dominating this pack here tonight and probably the BEST RATED runner of the night for the #whoyaon team. Has an impressive 36% win and 73% place and with a demanding win last start should hold the lead from the good draw or take a sit behind Imperator Augustus. Should start odds on.
If the track is playing fair and allowing the swoopers to come home strong, then this girl should take some beating. Danger is Smart Coupe being out in front but really like the way she worked home on the rails behind Super Too who won impressively. Has form lines around Pariah and Crown Witness so class is defiantly on her side. Has not missed the placings at this track and has Zahra on board. Barrier the concern with plenty of speed on the inside but at the end of the day can see her being able to slot in and come round them close to the bend.
Viddora impressed last start when held up in running along the rail and burst out at the 50m mark. Lost in a photo to She Will Reign who had trouble in the Everest against some of these. Has GREAT 2nd up record and has a good draw to help with the transit. Is yet to win at the track but on 4 outings has landed in the collect circle 3 times. Over the odds here tonight and it could just be because she is against arguably the best sprinter in the land at the moment in Vega Magic.
