International Test Rugby Preview & Best Bets

A big weekend of International Test Rugby ahead of us. We have found some of the better bets to look into if you are having a punt as well as our Featured Multi. We will be previewing a few match ups with the Aussies taking on Scotland who are missing some of their best players due to the British and Irish Lions Tour.

Australia
Australia V Scotland
Although this Match up over the past few years has been a close one, the Scots are missing their best players to the British and Irish Lions Tour. The Wallabies showed some positive signs of improvement last week against Fiji. The Addition of inform Backs Like Karmichael Hunt and Dane Hayley Petty makes their Backline pretty threatening. Aus Should win this test comfortably.

Springboks
South Africa Vs France
The Springboks won the first test pretty easily last week between these two teams. That statistic however can be deceiving because the French were missing 8 of the best players due the TOP 14 grand final in France last week so if you look at the French starting Line up you will notice 8 changes. This should make for a closer game between the two teams although we are actually tipping the Springboks 13+ and here’s why. The Springboks have selected in form players from the Lions super rugby squad especially in the Back line. Elton Jantjies is good when he has players around him who are used to his style of play and can predict what he’s is going to do before he does it. We got a glimpse of this last week and it should be better this week with Lionel Mapoe brought into the centre for Jess Kriel (Concussion)

British and Irish Lions
Maori All Blacks vs British and Irish Lions
Although the Lions have been going down to NZ super rugby Teams like the Highlanders on this NZ tour the difference with this match up is the Maori All blacks have been put together from all different regions and teams. This can mean the team won’t gel as well as the teams that have been playing together all season. We should see some very exciting rugby with the likes of Damien Mckenzie at Flyhalf but I think the Lions are going too be proud and too strong for a Maori All blacks team that hasn’t had too long to prepare.
