Saturday’s Racing Free Best Bets 17/03/18

Taking a look back at our midweek selections where we went 2/4 with our BEST BET getting well supported in the market and won accordingly. Today we have searched high and low and found a form race that we have seen come at Flemington 2 weeks back and happy to follow the one who got a suck run and proved way too good on the day.

Few others to note this week we have a BIG ROUGHIE chance, 4 leg MULTI and our BEST BETS from each meet.

Flemington

Race 1 #4 Hear The Chant $2.70 – Very dominate here last start down the straight where he stalked the lead and went on with it. Drops 4.5kg on that run and just hoping that the inside rail is the place to be. Second up form is great with stats boasting (3:2-0-1) and loves the track (3:2-0-0). Working from home who finished behind Here The Chant has come out and won well last night at Moonee Valley to frank the form!

Bet Play: Back Hear The Chant the win and Qin with #1,#4 and #7

Rosehill Gardens

Race 2 #6 Stampede $3.10 – Likes to roll along in front and not convinced gets it that easy today but is third up and fitter for the run after fading out last start. Has found this distance range to be a PET for it with (4: 2-0-1) and holds a win percentage of 46%. Should lead and give them something to run down the straight.

Bet Play: Stampede to win and a small saver on Auvray

Ascot

Race 2 #8 More Aces $4.8 – Has drawn the inside and should scoot up to take a sit one or two back. Is well into the prep now and slight query on dropping back from the 1200m to 1000m today but has good stats at both track and distance. Has been in the black book for a while now and hoping can prove tough to beat with an economical run.

Flemington

Race 8 #5 Soho Ruby $5.5 – Looked to be travelling awful last start here when off the bit before the turn in a 1400m race when since picked up and ran a quick closing 200m. Out to the mile now really suits and has won over this track before.

Rosehill Gardens

Race 5 #2 Nieta $3.2 – Has trialled very well in the lead up to the autumn campaign and has a great first up record (4-3-0-1). Has been competitive against the likes of Redzel in the Spring last prep and think if holds that form should be winning this today. Nice race to kick off in.

Race 9 #7 Most Exalted $19/5 – Not suited to the heavy going at Mudgee last start and back on firmer ground today we get a good price to see if he is up to it. Has won at both the T/D before and has some solid second up form. Keen for a small each way play to end the day.

COOLMORE CLASSIC

Race 7
#7 Egg Tart $6 – Flashed home with no luck in the running. Hopefully, speed is one so they fan out a bit at the top of the straight as where she gets to in the map is back on the rail. Even luck should win.
#9 Aide Memoire $26/6.50 – Held up badly last start and if we have the sting out of the ground going to be tough to get past.
#18 Oregon’s Day $14/4.25 – Fitness edge and just a tad too far back from the tearaway leader Flippant first up and will be better from the run. Sneaky chance!

Morphettville

Race 9 #5 Despatch $2.9 – Trial follower for me here after he has been off the scene for more than a year. J.Kah and McEvoy combo is a huge plus and had been racing well prior to the spell. Happy to see they elected for the 1000m today and would be happy to play in multis.
