WOW, Spring is almost here and with these lead up races in to it we will start to get a gauge on what to follow come Spring. Over 50 horses are back in action today around the country along with THE MIGHTY MARE WINX! She runs is Race 6 at Randwick at 3pm so don’t miss it. Few good runners we have picked out today and expect a good collect.

Race 6 #4 Jukebox $3.20 (William Hill) – Been waiting for this horse to come back into prep. Was spelled due to injury and looks like this young colt has come back bigger and stronger than ever. 2/2 in his career and Williams takes the ride today. Was one of the in form 2 year olds and expecting to come back the same way this spring.

Race 7 #7 Star Exhibit $10/2.65 (William Hill) – WA horse has come back to Melbourne after running 2nd to Sense of Occasion in the G1 Doomben Cup. Has a record fresh of 4 starts for 3 wins and is 1/1 at the track. Expect Weir to have him ready to go again. Good Each Way Play up against Black Hart Bart and Hartnell.

 

Race 3 #1 Kid Flash #3.60  (William Hill) – Trailed well on heavy going which is what he will have to deal with today. Tony McEvoy trained and Damien Thornton takes the ride. 3 career starts fir 1 win 1 second and a 4th. Should get the sit just behind the leader and prove hard to beat in the straight.

 

Race 3 #6 Dansez $5.50 (William Hill) – Strong win last start when held off Catalina Miss at Gold Coast to break her MDN. Get’s the favours and in the run this time and shouldn’t race wide like last start. Strong in the straight and think you will still get each way odds by the time she jumps.

Race 8 #1 Havasay $4.00 (William Hill) – If you haven’t seen her last run at this track and distance I suggest you go and do it. Sat well the whole trip and when asked to go by jockey Matthew McGillivray he just took off. Expect to get just off the pace today and a little wider in the run but with cover. Come straight time I expect him to weave through and come away with the victory. HARD TO BEAT.

 

Race 1 #3 Champagne Cuddles $2.70 (William Hill) – This Bjorn Baker filly has trialed against the likes of Dixie Blossoms who is an outstanding horse. Is 2/2 in her short career and expect her to be in the finish today. BEST BET

Race 7 #9 Shazee Lee $15/3.90 (William Hill)  – Coming back into prep now and doesn’t win often but has proven she can win first up with a record of 3:1:0:0. Will be each way odds and will be a good place play for the weekend or in a multi. Has won at the distance before when first up. KEEN TO PLAY
