Super Rugby Round 11

This weeks Super Rugby match ups have been reviewed. We have found some value in line and half time betting plays, so check them out before this weeks tips are submitted.

Hurricanes vs Stormers Friday 5th May 5:30pm

With the Stormers now losing 7 in a row against New Zealand opposition its extremely hard to see them getting up against the reigning champions. They are giving the men from Cape Town a +22.5 point head start which is tempting but we all know the Hurricanes are capable of 3 try’s in 3 minutes. Where we think there is a bit of value is on the half time head to head market. The stormers are paying $5.50 to be ahead at half time. They have been blown away in the first 20 minutes against the other New zealand teams over the last few weeks which is why I think the stormers whole game plan will be around starting well especially on defence. If you don’t have the balls to take them head to head at half time take them with the half time head start which is +11 at around $1.95.

Cheetah vs Highlanders Saturday 6th May 03:00am

The Cheetahs have been scoring a few points over the past few weeks however the have also been conceding plenty as well. I think the Cheetahs know that if they can tighten up on the defensive side of things the can be competitive against the Highlanders which is why the line looks attractive at Cheetahs+13.5. If you feel the Highlanders are going to be much too strong you can get the winger Patrick Osbourne to score 3 + tries at $6.50.

Rebels vs Lions Saturday 6th May 03:00pm

With the Rebels coming back from their South African tour on Monday they will be feeling the jet lag. The Lions however are coming off a hard fought win over the Force in Perth which they would’ve  been pretty disappointed with. The key with this game will be the fact that kickoff is at 3:00pm and the forecast is sunshine which means it will be running rugby which the Lions will relish. Take the Lions on the Half time Line -8 $2.10 or the Full time line -15.5 $1.91 or 13+ $1.60. Any of these options are a good play.

Waratahs Vs Blues
 Saturday 6th May 07:45pm

This is arguably one of the best matches of the round with the Waratahs bouncing back last week to come from behind to beat the Reds in Brisbane which is not easy. The Blues on the other hand are coming off a tough win against the Brumbies in Canberra. Although you could make a strong case for the Waratahs it is just so hard to go against the New Zealand teams this year. The Blues also get back key playmaker Piers Francis, he will start in the number 10 jersey. If you think the warathas could have what it takes then the $3.20 on offer is enough value although I feel that the blues will be too strong and like the look of the $2.80 on offer for 13+.
