This Weekend’s Top Raters

Whoyaon’s Top Rater’s This Weekend!

Wow, there is some great racing on this long weekend. How can we complain when there is Friday night races at The Valley and then Randwick for Epsom day followed by Caulfield on Sunday. We have taken a look around the country and found a multi we are really keen on for rolling the bank over a HUGE SPENDING weekend.

MULTI: All to win

Leg 1 – Randwick R6 #1 Chautauqua – $2.75

Leg 2 – Caulfield R6 #3 Royal Symphony – $2.15

Leg 3 – Belmont R7 #6 Floyd – $2

Leg 4 – Sunshine Coast R2 #1 My Giuliano – $4

Leg 5 – Morphettville R1 #2 Glam Guru -$1.4

ODDS = $66.22

SATURDAY:

 best bet - RANDWICK

Race 5 FLIGHT STAKES – #4 Cellar Girl $6.50 (William Hill)

Really liked the way she worked home over in the Tea Rose, was a little to far back in the running but will be closer today. Think the each way play is the smart option but she is just going to good this time in to give up a small play on the win.

Race 7 EPSOM HANDICAP
#1 Happy Clapper $2.75 and #11 Comin’ Through $6.50 (William Hill)

Happy clapper is the class horse in the race whose last run was a gapping to third but just going down to WINX. Will get a good run in transit to then peel out in the straight to hopefully be to strong. Comin’ Through was on pace last start and held off Tom Melbourne to win well, think the Magic Man can do some damage up in front today if Red Exticement doesn’t want to take up the lead. QUINELLA PLAY – #1 and #11

Race 8 THE METROPOLITAN – #9 Life Less Ordinary $5.50 (William Hill)

Gets Kerrin McEvoy back on board and finally out over the 2000m mark. Suited with the more distance and will be fit from opast 3 runs here at Randwick. Gets a good weight swing here on the favourite Libran and finished a close 2nd to Comin’ Through who since come out and won again.

Race 2 #1 My Guiliano $4 – (William Hill)

Flashing home late last start to just miss to the low flying Ingeegoodbe. Stays at the distance and brings some Sydney form to QLD. Gets the inside draw today and expecting a bold race.

Race 7 #6 Floyd $2 (William Hill)

Gee this guy just continues to improve, stepping up again today but looks the multi builder for the weekend. Last start spanking here over the 1000m was impressive and if he can take any improvement out of that run he is the one to beat again.

SUNDAY:

Race 5 #2 Shoals $6.50 (William Hill)

Unbeaten at 4 career starts and last one was impressive when ridden on the pace at Moonee Valley. Gets the bigger track now and if she can give a kick in the straight with a bit slower tempo in the race, then should be to good for Catchy coming home strong.

Race 6 #3 Royal Symphony  (William Hill)

Only good horses can do what he did last start. held up the entire straight and had to weave his way out near the 100m mark and got up to win by a breath. Keeps on improving and is a winner. Should be right in this again with the Godolphin horse the main danger.
